At Navkar Printing Solutions, we are committed to delivering your printed products safely, efficiently and as quickly as reasonably possible.
Because most of our products are custom manufactured, production time and shipping time are separate. Please review this Shipping & Delivery Policy carefully before placing an order.
By placing an order with Navkar Printing Solutions, you agree to this Shipping & Delivery Policy and our Terms & Conditions.
1Shipping Coverage#
Navkar Printing Solutions provides shipping and delivery services across Canada.
Shipping availability, rates and transit times may vary depending on:
- destination;
- postal code;
- order quantity;
- package dimensions;
- package weight;
- product type;
- selected carrier;
- requested delivery speed; and
- whether an order requires pallet or freight transportation.
Certain remote or difficult-to-service locations may require additional shipping time or charges.
International shipping may be available for certain orders upon request and must be confirmed by Navkar before the order is placed.
2Production Time vs. Shipping Time#
Production turnaround time and shipping/transit time are separate.
For example, if a product has a 4-business-day production turnaround and the selected shipping service takes approximately 2 business days, the estimated overall time would generally be approximately 6 business days.
Production time generally begins only after:
- full payment or required deposit has been received;
- print-ready artwork has been received;
- all specifications have been confirmed; and
- final artwork/proof approval has been received, where applicable.
Delays in artwork approval, payment, file correction or Customer responses will delay the production schedule.
3Production Turnaround Times#
Production times vary depending on the product, quantity, finishing requirements and current production capacity.
Any turnaround time shown on our website, quotation, invoice or communicated by our staff is an estimate unless expressly guaranteed in writing.
Business days generally mean Monday through Friday, excluding Ontario statutory holidays and other days on which our production facilities or applicable suppliers are closed.
Orders involving specialty finishing, large quantities, custom fabrication, outsourced components or special-order materials may require additional production time.
4Shipping Methods#
Depending on the destination, size and nature of the order, Navkar may ship using national or regional carriers, local couriers, freight companies or other delivery providers.
Available services may include:
- Standard/Ground Shipping
- Expedited Shipping
- Express Shipping
- Local Courier Delivery
- Freight/Pallet Delivery
- Customer Pickup
The carrier used for a particular shipment may be selected by Navkar based on destination, package dimensions, service availability, reliability and cost unless a specific carrier has been agreed upon in writing.
5Shipping & Delivery Estimates#
Estimated transit times are provided for convenience only.
Typical Canadian shipments may take approximately:
| Destination | Estimated transit time |
|---|---|
| Greater Toronto Area | 1–3 business days |
| Ontario & Quebec | 1–4 business days |
| Other Canadian Provinces | approximately 3–8 business days |
| Remote Areas | additional transit time may apply |
These estimates begin after the order has completed production and has been transferred to the carrier.
Delivery times are not guaranteed unless Navkar expressly confirms a guaranteed delivery service in writing.
6Shipping Costs#
Shipping charges are calculated based on factors including:
- destination;
- weight;
- dimensions;
- number of packages;
- shipping method;
- carrier rates;
- fuel or remote-area surcharges; and
- whether specialized handling is required.
The shipping charge shown on a quotation, invoice or checkout page is based on the information available at the time.
Oversized or unusually heavy orders may require a separate shipping quotation.
7Large-Format & Oversized Products#
Certain products may be considered oversized by parcel carriers, including:
- Coroplast signs;
- lawn signs;
- election signs;
- banners;
- rigid boards;
- display stands;
- feather flags;
- large posters;
- roll-up banners;
- sign hardware; and
- other large-format products.
These products may require special packaging, multiple cartons, freight transportation or local delivery.
Additional shipping and handling charges may apply.
For large commercial orders, Navkar may arrange palletized or freight delivery.
8Rush & Expedited Shipping#
Expedited or rush delivery may be available for an additional charge.
Rush production and expedited shipping are different services.
Purchasing faster shipping does not automatically reduce the production time required to manufacture an order.
If an order is time-sensitive, Customers should contact Navkar before ordering so that both production capacity and shipping options can be confirmed.
9Customer Deadlines & Event Dates#
Customers ordering products for an election, campaign, trade show, conference, grand opening, promotion, event or other deadline-sensitive purpose should allow sufficient time for both production and transportation.
The Customer is responsible for communicating any critical deadline before placing the order.
Navkar will make commercially reasonable efforts to meet requested deadlines but does not guarantee arrival by an event date unless a guaranteed delivery commitment has been expressly accepted by Navkar in writing.
Navkar is not responsible for event costs, advertising losses, lost sales or other consequential losses resulting from carrier delays.
10Tracking Information#
Where tracking is available, Navkar will generally provide the Customer with a tracking number after the shipment has been processed by the carrier.
Tracking information may take up to approximately 24 hours to become active after a shipping label has been generated.
The creation of a shipping label does not necessarily mean that the carrier has physically collected or scanned the shipment.
Customers should use the applicable carrier’s tracking system for the most current transit information after pickup.
11Shipping Address Responsibility#
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.
Please verify the following before approving an order:
- recipient/company name;
- street number;
- unit/suite number;
- street name;
- city;
- province;
- postal code;
- telephone number; and
- delivery instructions.
Navkar is not responsible for delivery delays, losses or additional expenses caused by incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the Customer.
12Address Changes After Shipping#
Once an order has been shipped, Navkar cannot guarantee that the shipping address can be changed.
If the carrier permits an address correction or shipment redirection, additional carrier fees may apply.
The Customer will be responsible for such charges where the original address or subsequent redirection was provided or requested by the Customer.
13Failed or Refused Deliveries#
If a delivery cannot be completed because:
- nobody is available to receive it;
- access to the property is unavailable;
- the address is incorrect or incomplete;
- the recipient refuses the shipment;
- the shipment is not collected from a carrier location; or
- another Customer-related delivery issue occurs,
the carrier may return the shipment to Navkar.
Any reasonable return-to-sender, redelivery, address-correction or reshipping charges resulting from Customer-provided information or actions may be charged to the Customer.
14Local Pickup#
Customer pickup may be available for eligible orders.
Customers should wait until Navkar confirms that the order is READY FOR PICKUP before travelling to collect it.
Production estimates are not pickup confirmations.
Customers may be required to provide the order number, invoice information or other reasonable identification when collecting an order.
Once an order has been collected and accepted, the Customer is responsible for transporting and handling the products safely.
15Split Shipments#
Large orders or orders containing multiple products may be produced or shipped separately.
As a result, an order may arrive in multiple packages or on different days.
A partial delivery does not necessarily mean that products are missing.
Where available, Customers should review all tracking numbers associated with their order.
16Shipping Delays#
Once an order has been handed to a third-party carrier, the shipment is subject to that carrier’s transportation network and operating conditions.
Delays may occur because of circumstances including:
- severe weather;
- snowstorms;
- flooding;
- wildfires;
- road closures;
- carrier network congestion;
- mechanical problems;
- transportation interruptions;
- labour disruptions;
- peak holiday volumes;
- incorrect addresses;
- remote-area service limitations;
- governmental restrictions;
- emergencies; or
- other circumstances outside Navkar’s reasonable control.
Navkar will reasonably assist Customers with carrier-related issues but cannot guarantee third-party carrier performance.
17Lost or Missing Shipments#
If tracking indicates that an order has not been delivered within the expected timeframe, please contact Navkar as soon as reasonably possible.
We may initiate an investigation with the applicable carrier where appropriate.
Carrier investigations may take several business days or longer.
Navkar cannot automatically issue a refund or replacement while a shipment is still in transit or while a carrier investigation is pending.
Where a shipment is confirmed lost, Navkar will review the circumstances and available carrier coverage and determine the appropriate resolution in accordance with our Terms & Conditions and applicable law.
18Packages Marked “Delivered”#
If carrier tracking shows a shipment as delivered but the Customer cannot locate it, the Customer should first:
- check all entrances and safe-drop locations;
- check with household members, reception staff or employees;
- check with neighbours where appropriate;
- verify the shipping address on the order; and
- contact the carrier where appropriate.
The Customer should then contact Navkar promptly if the shipment remains missing.
Navkar may assist in initiating a carrier investigation where available.
A carrier’s confirmed proof of delivery may be considered when determining whether a shipment was successfully delivered.
19Damaged Shipments#
Customers should inspect delivered packages promptly.
If an order appears to have been damaged during transportation, please:
Do not discard the shipping box, packaging or damaged products.
Take clear photographs of:
- the exterior shipping carton;
- shipping label;
- damaged areas of the carton;
- internal packaging;
- affected printed products; and
- the overall quantity affected.
Contact Navkar at info@navkarprints.com within 2 business days of delivery and provide your order/invoice number and photographs.
The Customer may be required to retain the entire shipment and original packaging while a carrier claim is investigated.
Failure to retain the packaging or provide sufficient evidence may affect our ability to pursue a carrier claim.
20Shortages or Missing Items#
If an order appears to contain fewer items than expected, please contact us within 2 business days of delivery.
Before reporting a shortage, Customers should verify whether:
- the order was shipped in multiple cartons;
- additional tracking numbers were issued; or
- part of the order is still in transit.
Navkar may request photographs of the received cartons, labels and contents to investigate the discrepancy.
21Shipping Damage vs. Printing Defect#
Damage caused during transportation is treated separately from a manufacturing or printing defect.
Examples of transportation damage may include crushed cartons, bent signs or products damaged by carrier handling.
Examples of production issues may include an order being printed materially differently from the Customer-approved proof or confirmed specifications due to a Navkar production error.
Production-quality claims are handled according to our Terms & Conditions and applicable return/reprint policy.
22Returns of Custom Printed Products#
Because Navkar products are generally custom manufactured specifically for each Customer, printed products are normally final sale once production begins.
Shipping delays alone do not create a right to return customized products unless otherwise required by applicable law.
Products cannot be returned merely because they are no longer required, an event was cancelled, the Customer changed their mind, or a deadline was missed because of circumstances outside Navkar’s reasonable control.
Verified production errors will be handled in accordance with our Terms & Conditions.
23Customer-Arranged Shipping#
If a Customer chooses to arrange their own courier, carrier or freight company, responsibility for transportation passes to the Customer and their selected carrier once the order has been collected from Navkar or the applicable production facility, to the extent permitted by law.
Navkar is not responsible for the performance of a carrier selected and contracted directly by the Customer.
24Freight & Pallet Deliveries#
Large commercial orders may require freight or palletized transportation.
The Customer is responsible for informing Navkar in advance if the delivery location:
- does not have a loading dock;
- requires a liftgate;
- is residential;
- has restricted truck access;
- requires an appointment;
- has limited receiving hours; or
- requires inside delivery.
Additional freight charges may apply for special delivery requirements that were not disclosed when shipping was quoted.
25Force Majeure#
Navkar will not be liable for failure or delay in shipping or delivery caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, fire, flood, power outages, carrier disruptions, strikes, government actions, public emergencies, supplier disruptions, transportation failures or similar events.
Where such an event occurs, Navkar will make commercially reasonable efforts to complete or facilitate delivery as soon as reasonably practicable.
26Limitation of Liability for Shipping Delays#
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Navkar Printing Solutions will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses resulting from shipping or carrier delays, including:
- lost profits;
- lost business;
- missed advertising opportunities;
- event expenses;
- campaign expenses;
- installation costs; or
- other indirect economic losses.
Nothing in this Shipping Policy limits any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
